The elementary sailing course programme consists of the essential knowledge and skills you can acquire on sailing. During the course the theoretical skills of the sailing essentials, the sail aerodynamics, navigation skills, manoevering with engine and sails, weather forecasting, avoiding collisions on the sea, safety on the sea, etc. are acquired.

In the practical part of the course a special attention is paid to the elementary sailing skills, where the attendants in the groups of maximal 5 course attendants with one instructor have enough time for gaining skills for independant sailing.

The Sailing Course is held on the sailing boat First 7500.
