First 50 – Winner of Split Boat Show

First 50 produced by the biggest and well known French shipyard Beneteau, won at the years Split Boat Show special award as best prize for best sailing boat at the show. The award was given to Mr. Emil Tomašević who took it on the behalf of Beneteau, since he is the general representative of Beneteau and Wauquez boats; he is also manager of Ultra Sailing Company from Split.

Besides First 50, three boats from the Oceanis group are present: Oceanis 40, 43 and 46, together with Wauiquez Pilot Salon 47 definitely the most luxurious sailing boat of the show.

With the launching of the new type of Ocaenis boats, Beneteau has shaken up the world market of private boats. As a curiosity, the complete production of Oceanis 40 for next year, was sold at last years show in Cannes, the managers of Beneteau decided to double the production for the Paris boat show and other world shows, for buyers to be able to buy.
